Introduction

The idea of black hole was given by John Michell. Black holes are very attractive. But they are equally dangerous and complicated. Black holes are formed by the collision of two stars. The size of these stars can be 10 times, 10000 times, 100000 times or even millions of times that of our sun.

The force of gravity inside these black holes is so strong that it also attracts light inside itself. Because all the matter gets accumulated in a very small place. Black holes are formed when stars die. Through the space telescope, we get to see the photos of black holes.

Types of Black Holes

There are three types of black holes –
  • The first primordial black hole is that they are very small. That is, it is like a single atom.
  • Second, black holes are also of medium size, which are called stellar. Their mass is many times greater than that of our Sun. They are found in very large numbers in our galaxy.
  • Third, there are supermassive black holes. Their mass is several million times that of the Sun. These supermassive black holes are at the center of all galaxies. At the center of our galaxy is a black hole named Sagittarius A. Which is equal to several lakh suns.

Nasa’s Research

Scientists find out through the effect of strong gravity on stars. Scientists study deeply what is the motion of a star. He tries to find out the motion of stars so that he can detect black holes.

Although some scientists and researchers also believe that our sun will turn into a black hole. But for the time being its chances are very less. Because the sun does not have enough mass for this. So that it can collapse as a black hole.

All this process will happen after many billions of trillions of years. When the sun will die. Then it will turn into a red giant star. But at the moment it doesn’t seem likely. So we can say that for the time being humanity is safe.

All the information about black holes is provided by NASA. NASA collects all the information about black holes through the Chandra X-Ray Observator, the Swift Satellite and the Fermi Gamma Ray Space Telescope. Which were launched by NASA in 2008.

Einstein’s theory of general relativity also tells about black holes. Which says that those very big stars die. So by their death the small mass gets gathered in one place. Which is 4 to 5 times bigger than the Sun. He has all the gravitational forces inside him. They form black holes.

The gravitational force of a black hole can be estimated from the fact that whatever light enters inside it. He also pulls her towards him and she perishes. The light stops visible from outside. So this shows how much gravity black holes have. From which even light cannot escape.

Even scientists cannot detect black holes directly with the help of telescopes. Scientists observe things like X-rays, light and electromagnetic radiation etc. through the telescope. It also detects what effect it will have on the matter.

Recently, NASA observed the sound of a black hole. But sound travels and it needs space. But this is not possible in space. That’s why NASA converted his voice through its instrument and then brought it to the common people.

Supernova Explosion

Black holes are formed by the death of a very massive star. Most of the black holes are formed because of the star that dies in a supernova explosion. A supernova is a type of huge explosion. Because of that explosion, a lot of brightness is released. Because a star has a very powerful explosion.

Massive stars that die or burn, they have a nuclear fuel in their center which is in a very large amount. Because of that energy, its center gets very hot. It creates pressure. Due to that pressure there is nuclear burning of stars. Because of that the star collapsing starts happening.
