There are more chances of getting hacked in Android mobile because it has less security features. Although Google is now adding new security features to it. So that the privacy of the people is protected. Similarly, Google had added a feature called Two Step Verification. Which was very useful. If you also want to apply this feature named Two Step Verification then follow the following steps.
- First of all you have to go to your Google Account. There you will find an option named Manage Your Google Account under your Email ID. On which you have to click. After that you will be taken to a new tab.
- Here your account will be opened and you will be taken to the home page of your account. Here you will find Personal Information, Data and Privacy and the third option Security.
- After reaching the security option from here, you will get the option of two-step verification in signing into Google, on which you have to click.
- You will need to enter a password to verify yourself. After that you have to click on the next button.
- For 2 step verification, here you have to click on the button with Continue?
- If your phone is lost or no other option is available. So you have to register your mobile number for a backup option. After entering your mobile number you will get a code. You will be given the option how you want to take this code. Want to take it through text message or through phone call. So here you have to enter your mobile number and click on the text option. You will also get an OTP which you will have to fill there.
- Here a code will come to your number through message. You have to enter that code here and you have to click on the button next.
- Here you will get the option to turn on two step verification. You have to click on that turn on button.
- And finally your two step verification will be applied successfully or turn on.
