Google’s Co-Founder Sergey Brin and his wife Nicole Shanahan have filed for divorce. Google’s Co-Founder Sergey Brin is the 6th richest person in the world and they have been married only for 4 years.
In the court documents filed for divorce, he has given irreconcilable differences as the reason for the separation. In 2018, a girl child was born to them. Whose age is now almost 3 years.
Mr Brin’s attorneys say that he does not want to put his child in danger from the public attention he has received because of the divorce.
This case belongs to the Co-Founder of Google. So this case is very high profile. That’s why it also gets full public attention. So therefore their child may also be at risk of dangers such as Harassment and Kidnapping etc.
Alphabet was founded in 1998 by Sergey Brin along with Larry Page. Today Sergey Brin’s wealth is $94 Billion. And it also makes him the sixth richest person in the world. Although this is not the first marriage of Sergey Brin.
This is his second marriage. With which he is going to divorce. His first marriage was to Me Key founder Anne Wojcicki. With whom he took a divorce in 2015.
This is the third largest divorce of mega billionaires in the last few years. Earlier Bill Gates and Melinda Gates have divorced. Earlier, Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos and Mackanzie Scott have also been divorced.
Both of them got divorced in 2019. Mackenzie Scott got four percent stake in Amazon. Which was $36 billion. It was the largest divorce in the world till date.
When Bill Gates and Melinda Gates Divorced so their total assets were $145 Billion. After the divorce, it also had to be divided. While the net worth of Jeff Bezos and Mackenzie was $137 billion. Which it also had to divide again.
This very expansive dive from the Co-Founder of Google is being expected. Whatever assets they have, they will also be bifurcated. All issues relating to property rights shall be determined by the Confidential Binding Arbitration.
Which will be according to the return agreement between both the parties. According to court filings, Sergey Brin and Nicole Shanahan had parted ways since December 2021. Sergey Brin and Nicole Shanahan started dating each other in 2015 and on 7 November 2018, both of them got married.
